Our Luminesque™ PROGRESS program guides beginner to advanced dancers through a comprehensive deep dive into the context, history, foundations, skills, technique and performance of heels dance style. The cast of 300+ dancers then celebrates their achievements through a larger than life show at a premiere venue to a supportive audience of thousands of friends and family. These courses are five months long, divided into 3 levels, and do not require an audition.

Our Luminesque™ COMPANY program is our annual, auditioned dance program for intermediate and advanced dancers. These dedicated students train at a professional intensity with renowned choreographers in a collaborative and creative environment. They perform in all of our shows, as well as at community events. They also develop their own showcase, which they take on tour across British Columbia. They’re leaders in our community and are inspired by opportunities to empower others through dance.

Our Luminesque™ EXPRESS program rapidly challenges advanced dancers to develop artistry, embodied storytelling and performance quality through the expedited process of building a show for an intimate audience in only 8 weeks. This artistic development program allows seasoned dancers to go beyond learning technique, and collaborate with expert choreographers and directors to hone their craft as performers. We offering courses for Ensemble Dancers and Soloists. Audition: March 2, 2024.

HEELS DANCE | EPIC SHOWS | ALL LEVELS
For five months, dive into the context, history, foundations, skills, technique and performance of heels dance style. Then celebrate your achievements in a legendary show at a premiere venue in front of hundreds of fans.

Whether this is your first step into a dance studio or you’ve been dancing forever, our Luminesque certified teachers will help you develop, progress and dance safely in heels. First, you’ll build a foundation through education about the meaning and context of the movements you’ll be learning. Then, you get out of your head and into your bodies with our Rise and Shine warmup that develops strength, stamina, stability, alignment and injury prevention. Finally you learn skills, struts, turns, grooves and moves that your teacher will integrate into special choreography you’ll be proud to perform!

Every term, our creative team writes a full length show where our students are the stars! No matter your level of experience, we make sure you look and feel amazing in the spotlight. We consistently sell out Vancouver’s premiere venues like Celebrities Nightclub to thousands of supportive fans. You receive the full backstage experience - from learning about lighting and staging, to getting ready with your new friends in a professional greenroom. Our shows always feature storylines that align with our values - so you’ll be proud to invite your loved ones to come cheer you on!

Whether you’ve never danced before or grew up dancing, we have a spot for you in our PROGRESS program. We have 3 core levels in the PROGRESS program: the KITTEN HEELS, the PUMPS, and the STILETTOS. We created a level system to ensure everyone receives the training, support, and show choreography that will help them shine in their best light in studio and onstage in their performances. Although our levels have cheeky high-heel inspired names, these aren’t literally the shoes you’ll wear when you’re dancing.

PROGRESSION | PERFORMANCE | TEAMWORK
Company is an 11-month program for dancers desiring to perform more, grow as artists, and contribute to their community. This dedicated team learns from renowned teachers, eduators, choreographers, and directors every week and performs in every Luminesque show, plus bonus performances. They work together to develop their very own showase, which they take on tour across BC.

ARTISTRY | INTENSITY | PERFORMANCE
For 8 accelerated weeks, collaborate with expert directors to develop artistry, storytelling and performance quality before presenting choreography in an epic show. If you’re ready to go way beyond learning technique, and truly hone your craft and onstage impact - this program is for you. Auditions are required for EXPRESS.
