Our PROGRESS program includes 16 regularly scheduled weekly classes (PLUS costume pickup parties, director’s rehearsals, tech rehearsals and the shows). Below lists the earliest date a Progress course would start (refer to your day of the week).
MAINLAND: FEBRUARY 13 (WEEK OF)
VICTORIA: FEBRUARY 25 (WEEK OF)

Each PROGRESS course has the opportunity perform in TWO live shows. Each show weekend’s “CAST” is made up of courses that take place on a given day of the week.
MAINLAND SHOWS: JUNE 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22
VICTORIA SHOWS: JUNE 21 + 22
MAINLAND CASTS
CAST A (JUN 7 + 8): Tuesday, Friday + Saturday courses
CAST B (JUN 14 + 15): Wednesday + Thursday courses
CAST C (JUN 21 + 22): Sunday + Monday courses
VICTORIA CAST
All courses perform in all shows (JUN 21 + 22)
are you new to luminesque?
SPRING 2024 NEW TO LUMI COURSE SCHEDULE
If this is your first time in the Luminesque PROGRESS program, you join a NEW TO LUMI course.
Once you’ve completed the PROGRESS program once, you move into RETURNING courses (jump ahead).
new to luminesque levels
BEGINNER
BEGINNER is for people who have limited to no dance experience, and is designed to give students a strong foundation of technique, injury prevention, and confidence with performing.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
INT/ADV is for people who have dance experience, and is designed to introduce the Luminesque curriculum, performance prep process, and fill in any gaps in necessary injury prevention and heels dance technique.
AUDITIONS/PLACEMENT NOT REQUIRED
Students self-assess their level, and there is no audition or placement required. Suggestions may be made to switch levels within the first few weeks of the program, should a student appear to be in the wrong level (at risk for injury; or considerably ahead).

Once you’ve completed a NEW TO LUMI PROGRESS course, you move into our RETURNING student courses.
RETURNING courses are offered at 3 levels: KITTEN HEELS, PUMPS, and STILETTOS. Learn more about LEVELS.

“epiphany delivered”
Welcome to Muse Inc. We, The Muses, are dedicated to discreet delivery of artistic ideas to the Humans… no matter how difficult they may inadvertently make our missions. Assisted by our trusted Sparks, we 100% guarantee that inspiration strikes even amidst the cacophony of distractions.
Join us this term for an upbeat, lively, and light hearted satire about the search for inspiration and all the ways “muses” appear throughout our creative careers. Each section focuses on a different creative pursuit, and each dance brings to life an encounter between a Muse and their assigned Human. The production team is already hard at work on costumes, visuals, soundtrack and a script that we feel will truly connect with our community and audience.
THEMES
Creativity, motivation, sensual expression, inspiration, artistry, humour.
TERM FOCUS
Fun, joy, cheeky sexy, embodied power, creative expression.
STUDENT CHARACTERS
Artists - writers, painters, designers, directors, etc.
Sparks - cheeky sprites that deliver inspiration to the artists in creative ways.
AESTHETIC
Balance of badass boss bold and ethereal artistic gold.
