community partners
We believe in supporting other local businesses that create art and make a difference in the community. Our students help us raise thousands of dollars every year that all go towards supporting local charities with a variety of mandates. If you have a suggestion for a community partner or cause, please contact us to discuss how we can help.
BWSS
We’re honoured to have the Battered Women’s Support Services (BWSS) as an official charity partner. Battered Women’s Support Services provides education, advocacy, and support services to assist all women in its aim to work towards the elimination of violence and to work from a feminist perspective that promotes equality for all women. We host fundraising events and donate the proceeds of our 50/50 draw at every show to support BWSS. We’ve raised $10K+ so far!
MY SISTER’S CLOSET
We’re also honoured to have My Sister’s Closet as an official charity partner. The social enterprise consignment store helps to fund the Battered Women’s Support Services initiatives. We host a clothing drive every term with our students and accept lightly used clothing donations at all of our shows and community events. Our community has donated over 1,000lbs of clothing so far! If you have any lightly used clothing you’d like to donate, please contact us to schedule a drop-off.
QMUNITY

BLM VANCOUVER
The Black Lives Matter Vancouver chapter is a cause that supports the organizing work of Black folks and allies in undoing systemic racialized violence. Black Lives Matter is a cause cognizant of the ongoing struggles of all marginalized folks and we strive to honour that in the work we do. They centre the voices of Black folks as well as other folks of colour and hope to lift up those who are queer, women, trans, differently abled, poor or otherwise marginalized.

PACIFIC POST PARTUM
Pacific Post Partum Support Society has been supporting mothers and their families experiencing postpartum/perinatal distress, depression and anxiety for over 45 years. The program started in 1971 as a grass roots initiative when a small group of women began meeting at the Vancouver Crisis Line office to share their experiences and support each other around postpartum issues. This established the pattern for our treatment model: mothers supporting mothers.
