Join our Directors for three days of in-depth exploration of performing sexuality through dance.

DAY 1 - EXPLORING SENSUALITY with Fiona Matthews
We begin with getting curious about pleasure, embodiment and the senses. Through movement and performance exercises, you’ll explore what sensuality means to you in a judgment-free, trauma-informed space.

DAY 2 - EROTIC ENERGY EXCHANGE with Bronwynn Joy
We step out of the self and into erotic energy exchange - learning the elements of desire, and how to give/receive intensity through dance. Weaving consent-first and contact-optional partner work with character development, we’ll play with power exchange dynamics that can enrich your performances.

DAY 3 - PERFORMING PLEASURE with Bronwynn + Fiona
We put it all together, imagining we’ve left the studio and entered into the audience/stage environment in the pursuit of performing pleasure. Returning to the sensuality we harnessed on Day 1 and the deliberate magnetism of Day 2, we’ll thread together a performance toolkit you can use anywhere from your bedroom mirror to Broadway.

If you’re looking to deepen your performance abilities, explore all sides of yourself as a dance artist, and expand your comfortability with performed intimacy on stage - this is the intensive you’ve been dreaming of!

Ready to get down and dirty with the science behind Heels dance? Join our Program Director, Fiona Matthews for this mind-meets-body Intensive, where we sustainably explore the anatomy, physics, and technique behind Heels Dance over several juicy evenings in a row.

While we will definitely get moving, this 3-day experience is more about deeply understanding dance versus the high-intensity exhaustion of traditional “bootcamp” intensives. Dancers will fluctuate between observing, note taking, and physically applying themselves as we explore some of the most intriguing aspects of Heels. Each day will be a mix of concepts, conversations, case studies, and of course - dance!
