Road trip with us through the erotica metaverse, as told by 400+ Heels dancers, pole dancers, and storytellers. From sweaty flings on faraway beaches to swoony tales of love that transcends time and space - there’s enough spice in this show to tickle all the fancies. ;)
Follow our prolific romantasy novelist, Eleanor, as she takes us back to the birthplace of her erotica career - at “Storytelling Mastermind for Unwritten Topsellers”, affectionately known as “S.M.U.T. Camp.” This famed writers’ retreat for erotic novelists is where the best steamy manuscripts are massaged into moan-worthy masterpieces.
Blush, gasp, and feel all the feels as we flip the script on age-old tropes, reclaim our sexuality, and hopefully inspire you to write your own naughty narratives. Heels dance as an art is inspired and informed by cultures from the African diaspora, Latin American cultures, LGBTQ+ community culture, kink culture, and the sex work profession. As participants in and appreciators of these cultures, we are committed to dismantling the systems that seek to oppress them. We do so by examining our own biases, integrating diverse perspectives, investing back into these communities, continually educating ourselves, and creating a culture of accountability with our team, students, and advisors. We believe that by encouraging underrepresented voices and bodies to claim their space onstage and onscreen, we're contributing to building a world where everyone can shine.
As a show focused primarily on human sexuality, we now more than ever want to acknowledge that Heels dance, and thus this show, would not be possible without the tireless determination of sex workers - especially trans, Black and Latinx strippers & sex workers - to fight for the right to work & live safely. The sex- positivity movement that allows us to dance in varying states of undress on public stages was started by and continues to be pushed forward by sex workers. These are the best seats in the house! Enjoy our “splash zone” interaction with the performers in the front row. Includes four chairs and a table. Please note these seats aren’t for the faint of heart - if you aren’t prepared to cheer loud and don’t want personal attention from our performers, try our reserved seats instead! Touching the performers without explicit consent is strictly prohibited.

Enjoy our show in comfort by reserving a seated spot with a great sightline. Don’t worry about lining up early, knowing you have already secured yourself a seat. Seats are assigned on a first-bought first-seated basis, so if you’d like to sit with your friends, we recommend buying all of your tickets together. Please coat check your bags as legroom is limited.

Feel free to arrive at any time, and just look for the chair(s) with your name on them! You’re also welcome to roam and grab drinks and then return, knowing your seat is your own for the whole show. The seats are folding chairs on ground level.

Receive exclusive access to our first-come-first-served limited chairs throughout the venue. While this guarantees you a spot to sit, come early for the best chance at a good sightline and space to sit with friends. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will you send me a ticket? Do I have to bring a ticket to the event?
IN VANCOUVER, NO, you simply say the name of the ticket buyer at the door (guest list).
IN VICTORIA, YES, you will be emailed a QR code you’ll need to scan to get into the venue.
Are there minimum age requirements for this event?
Yes, all patrons must be 19+ to enter the venue and will need to present two pieces of valid government ID to be allowed entry.
What can/can’t I bring into the event?
Personal use of cellphones and cameras is allowed but please refrain from using flash. Remain respectful of the personal space and safety of other audience members and dancers at all times. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
Can I take and post photos of the show?
Yes, please just tag @luminesquedance and/or @luminesquevictoria when you do so! We reserve the right to ask for any unkind posts to be taken down.
Do I need to dress up to attend?
No, dressing up is not mandatory. Although costumes & masks are encouraged at our masquerade, they are not required to attend the show.
How do I contact the organizer?
Email glow@luminesquedance.com and allow 72 business hours for a response.
What is the refund policy?
IN VANCOUVER, we are not able to offer refunds for any reason for tickets to this event after Jun 1, 2025 so please double check your payment information and make sure to attend the show on the date you bought tickets for. You may sell your ticket to another patron, but if you do so please email glow@luminesquedance.com so we can update the guest list (or tell them to say your name at the door).
IN VICTORIA we are not able to offer refunds at any time, so please sell them to another patron and make sure you provide them your QR code so they can be scanned into the venue.
ACCESSIBILITY
It is with our deepest apologies that we acknowledge that Celebrities Nightclub and the Capital Ballroom are not a wheelchair accessible venue. We are continually advocating to Blueprint and MRG Group to implement improvements to the venue so we can safely welcome guests in wheelchairs to attend the show, and are also actively seeking alternative performance spaces that are more accessible.
