Auditions take place at Glow Studios Vancouver (1026 Davie St, Vancouver, Suite 400, Buzzer 200)
what’s included
INTENSIVE TRAINING
3-4 hours per week of class by multiple teachers
Learn dance conditioning, injury prevention, and heels skills development from multiple instructors every week all year.
MORE PERFORMANCES
Perform in every Luminesque show, plus more
Shine onstage at every Luminesque Dance show, as well as bonus performance opportunities like the Taboo Convention.
ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT
Creative curriculum + choreography opportunities
Receive guidance from expert directors, teachers, and choreographers - and then set your own piece for a show.

Two one-on-one lessons with your Director

Professional dance photoshoot + video reel
Participate in a professional photoshoot, and then receive dance portraits and video footage from your year of dance.

PRIVATE STUDIO TIME
Free and discounted time to practice in Glow Studios

Serve as a leader at community events
Empower and mentor other dancers in the Luminesque community by serving as supportive ambassadors at events.

Co-create your own show and take it on tour
Collaborate with other Company members, teachers, and your Director to create a showcase that you’ll take on the road.

Company helps you build your identity as an artist. Included in your registration is a professional photoshoot with edited shots that you have the licence use to promote yourself online, celebrate your accomplishments, and build your dance portfolio.

COMPANY ALUMNI PROGRAM
After graduating from the annual Company program, dancers have the option of applying to return in subsequent years as Alumni. Limited spots are offered to Company Alumni to ensure the priority of programming remains the First Term Graduate experience.

The following lists the pricing and the culmulative value of the 10-month (Sep to Jun) Company program.
ONE TIME SIGN UP FEE: $333
MONTHLY PAYMENTS: $222 x 11 (AUG TO JUN)
TOTAL: $2,775
breaks down to approx. $13.21/hr of programming (classes, directors, workshops, shows, etc)
COMPANY ALUMNI PRICING
ONE TIME SIGN UP FEE: $300
MONTHLY PAYMENTS: $200 x 11 (AUG TO JUN)
TOTAL: $2,500
*approx $11.90/hr of programming (classes, directors, workshops, shows, etc)
WHAT IS THE VALUE OF COMPANY?
COST BREAKDOWN:
$3,500: max 4 hours of dance instruction per week for 35 weeks @ $25/hr (incl. free heels tech drop-ins)
$1,600: at least 4 Director’s Rehearsals at $200/hr per rehearsal
$1,125: minimum cost of a dedicated Student Experience Coordinator for your class (1 hr per week)
$1,000: minimum cost of professional videography of your show performances
$500: Professional photoshoot with minimum 2 edited proofs
$240: 2 private lessons with your Director at $120 per lesson
$400: workshop on how to edit a personal dance video reel + professional video footage provided
$120: Costume supplies for every show
$90: 2 private studio rentals at $45/hr per rental
$80: Exclusively designed small batch merchandise item
Priceless: Perform in at least 10 professional quality performances, including your own showcase
